In January 2023, the Recovery Hub for American Women Writers was delighted to receive a Level II Digital Humanities Advancement Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. This grant of $150,000 will support further development of the Hub’s services, with a particular eye toward sustainable infrastructures and extending the Hub’s reach and impacts. Work on the grant began in February, kicking off with a call for cultivated projects. The Recovery Hub team is excited to continue supporting scholars as they share works by women writers through digital methods, and also provide support, mentorship and peer-review services for women in the digital humanities.
