Introduction by Alice Martin, Rutgers University
While our Feminist and DH Pedagogy bibliography provides approaches to using feminist and digital methods in the classroom, this bibliography focuses on feminist approaches to the digital humanities more broadly. Practitioners in the digital humanities apply digital tools and digital methods to humanities-oriented fields like philosophy, history, and literature.
The Hub takes a feminist approach to the digital humanities by promoting practices in the digital humanities that are sustainable, transparent, equitable, accessible, anti-racist, and decolonial. For a deep-dive into how we are using the term “feminism,” check out the Feminist and DH Pedagogy Bibliography here.
